If our vision of our profession is to give you the means to write your own adventure in complete freedom, here are a few reference points to help you strike the delicate balance between relaxation and visiting the best spots.
Pace: Cool & Relaxed
A week goes by quickly. Focus on the West and South coasts of Martinique, with perhaps a foray up to the north of Saint Lucia.
Le Marin -> Anses d’Arlet -> Saint Pierre ->Anse Couleuvre / Saint Pierre -> Fort Saint Louis -> Anse Noire -> Sainte-Anne.
Short sails, calm waters. Plenty of swimming—ideal for a first time or with young children. Visits to historic sites in Saint Pierre and Fort Saint Louis. Dolphins (no guarantee, but very often nonetheless) along the way. Many opportunities for snorkelling (turtles) and scuba diving.
Pace: Active sailing
10 days is the ideal format to head down to the Grenadines without rushing, or to do a complete tour of Martinique while taking the time to visit inland.
Pace: total switch-off
3 or 4 weeks? 6 or 8 months? Treat yourself to the ultimate luxury: time.
Head down to Grenada (the Spice Island) in the far south, wander through the Grenadines without thinking about tomorrow, sail back up to Antigua and its white shallows, or Saint Barth, or … The logbook is there, blank—it’s up to you to chart your wake.
Being able to wait for the ideal weather window and discover secret anchorages where “weekly” charter boats never go.
Staying a week instead of a night in that dream anchorage, simply because the children have made friends on the mooring and here, everything is harmony.
Free yourself from time—go or stay, at the pace of the day’s desire …
Tell us about your wishes—and your constraints too—and together we will sketch out your future cruise.
A successful cruise is a subtle balance between the pleasure of sailing and the gentleness of stopovers. Whether you are aiming for an intense 7-day “best-of” or the great long-term escape, do not sail at random. We fine-tune the itinerary so you never have to race the clock. Enjoy the moment—Punch Croisières takes care of the logistics.
